Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors may take Program Aide Training. Serving as a Program Aide may help you earn the Cadette, Senior or Ambassador Service to Girl Scouting bar. Click here to learn more about the Service to Girl Scouting bar or see your grade level Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.
To earn the Cadette Program Aide pin girls must:
- Earn a LiA, Leader in Action, award. To earn a LiA award, girls work with a group of Brownies who are completing a Girl Scout Brownie Journey. Look at the Cadette Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting for LiA information. Additional information about the LiA awards is found in the Girl Scout Brownie Quest, Cadette Breathe and Cadette MEdia How to Leader Guides. You can also find the information for LiAs for the Brownie Quest here and for the Brownie WOW here.
- Complete 6th grade (or earned a LiA) and completed the Program Aide Training class. Girls in grades 7 and above may take PA Training without completing the LiA award but will not be eligible to earn the Cadette Program Aide pin.
- After completing Program Aide Training, serve for six sessions as a Program Aide. Submit a Program Aide Log showing documentation of service in order to receive a Cadette Program Aide pin.
