100 Years and Counting

The Girl Scout organization is about to be 100 years old.  Celebrate this milestone with your Girl Scout sisters as we explore Girl Scout history and all things "100".  Fee includes program materials, snack and a participation patch.  Please limit adults to Girl Scout Safety-wise Ratios.

A Day at Boomers

Celebrate the end of the school year with a Girl Scout fun day. Come play the day away at Boomers in Modesto. Enjoy unlimited use of the bumper boats, go carts, miniature golf and rookie raceway. Special discounts for arcade tokens. Younger participants can enjoy the Boomer Kiddies Playland. Take a break from the fun and cool down with an ice cream. Agriculture Adventure Day

Girl Scouts and the California Women for Agriculture invite you and your family to attend this special agricultural fair.  Participate in hands-on booths, work on Try-Its, badges and Interest Project patches and get a taste of the It’s Your Planet-Love it! journey.  Meet women from local farms, ranches, restaurants, and universities, learn about a variety of farm animals, and make your own ice cream in a bag.  Fee includes admittance to the event, program supplies and participation patch.  Please note there is a $10 per car parking fee.

Bette Belle Smith Day of Service

Whether you mow a neighbor’s lawn, clean-up your neighborhood, join another group in a service activity, or join us to learn about planting a tree, Saturday, May 7, 2011 is the Bette Belle Smith Day of Service in Stanislaus County.  Help live out our “Forever Green” code for the celebration of the 100th year of Girl Scouts.  Together our community service efforts can improve the environment and make a difference.  Fee includes fun patch.

Bunches of Daisies

It’s a Girl Scout Daisy round up! Make puppets, flowers and friendship bracelets; sing songs, play games, and have an awesome time! Complete bridging steps 1 and 2 for bridging to Girl Scout Brownies.  Please adhere to the ratios found on p.56 of Volunteer Essentials (updated Safety-Wise) for each grade level: 2 adults for every 6 Daisy Girl Scouts.  A minimum of two adults must be available for troop supervision during the event.  Fee includes program materials,  participation patch, and snack.

This event is a must for every fun-loving Girl Scout Daisy and her special adult female. An adult partner is required. This event will also introduce girls to our 100th anniversary celebrations.

Fairytale Town Overnight

A night of fairytale fun awaits you.  This event includes a scavenger hunt, crafts and a special theater performance. Make sure you're ready with a sleeping bag and pillow for an overnight stay in this land of imagination.  Groups are limited to the ratios found on p.56 of Volunteer Essentials (updated Safety-Wise) of 1 adult for each individual girl, OR for Girl Scout Daisies: 2 adults for groups of 2-6 girls, 3 adults for groups of 7-10 girls, 4 adults for groups of 11-14 girls, 5 adults for groups of 15-18 girls OR for Girl Scout Brownies: 2 adults for groups of 2-12 girls, 3 adults for groups of 13-18 girls and 4 adults for groups of 19-24 girls.  Fee includes overnight program, morning snack, participation patch and entry into Fairytale Town Saturday.

Modesto Nuts GS Family Night

It’s a Family Night with the Modesto Nuts. So come out to the ball park and enjoy a family fun night with the team.  Here’s a great chance for your troop to enjoy a night out together. We will provide: dinner ticket, game, patch, game ticket, running of the bases for Girl Scouts and firework show after the game.
