Girl Scout Horse Program Registration
We are currently offering fall, winter and spring horse programs at three different arenas throughout our council jurisdiction and summer programs at Camp Menzies.

Camp Menzies
Camp Menzies is located in Calaveras County just east of Big Trees state park. Horseback is offered as a regular activity during our summer resident camp sessions and for troops during Trailblazers and Troop Camping at Menzies.

Hughson
Hughson is just outside of Ceres, CA about 15 minutes South of Modesto and 1 ½ hours south of Sacramento. The Casey Family Arena is a covered arena and allows riding programs in all weather. We do not have programs scheduled for this arena at this time, please check back in the fall of 2013.
Ione
Ione is near Jackson, CA, about 50 minutes South East of Sacramento or 1 hour North East of Modesto. The Ed Hughes Memorial Arena in Ione is a covered arena and allows riding programs in all weather. We do not have programs scheduled for this arena at this time, please check back in the fall of 2013.
Jamestown
Jamestown is near Sonora, CA, about 1 hour East of Modesto or 2 hours South East of Sacramento. Our horse program is offered at the Tuolumne County Sheriffs Posse grounds in Jamestown.

Oakdale
Oakdale is about 30 minutes North East of Modesto or 1 1/2 hours South East of Sacramento. The arena is covered and allows riding in all weather.
