Earning Awards for Girl Scout Ambassadors

“In Girl Scouts, leadership isn’t just about building future leaders- it’s about building girl leaders for today.”-Kathy Cloninger, former CEO, Girl Scouts of the USA.

As Girl Scouts we discover, connect, and take action to become leaders that have a voice in our community and work to make the world a better place.

In the community and within Girl Scouting there are many ways to be recognized for the ways girls go above and beyond. Click the links to the left to find out about awards specific to your Girl Scout grade level. Look below to see what awards are available to apply for within your community.

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is looking for young people across the country who have distinguished themselves through volunteer activities in their communities. They need your help to find as many such young people as possible by the beginning of November! The application period for the 17th year of The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards will conclude on November 1. To be considered, young people in grades 5-12 must complete an application online at spirit.prudential.com or www.nassp.org/spirit, and then submit it to a middle level or high school principal, Girl Scout council, county 4-H agent, American Red Cross chapter, YMCA or an affiliate of HandsOn Network.
