CAN A GIRL ATTEND SHORT TERM RESIDENT CAMP IF SHE IS NOT A GIRL SCOUT?
Girls who are not Girl Scouts are encouraged to join the summer fun! Non-Girl Scouts will need to register by filling out a registration form and need to include an additional $12 Girl Scout membership fee, to be paid with the day camp registration. Girls will be Girl Scout members until September 30.
CAN I USE COOKIE CREDITS TO PAY FOR PART OF MY DAY CAMP FEES?
Day Camp fees can be paid for with 2012 Girl Scout Cookie credits. Anyone wishing to use Cookie credits from 2011 must register for camp prior to the expiration date of April 30, 2011.
ARE REFUNDS AVAILABLE?
All refund requests must be received in writing three weeks prior to camp (excluding medical emergencies). Since supplies must be purchased prior to camp, full refunds may not be possible).

Each short term resident camp has an individual flier that lists information about camp activities, the dates, times and location of the camp, the address to send registration packets to, and people to call or email for more information about that camp.

I WANT TO REGISTER FOR CAMP. WHERE DO I SEND MY REGISTRATION PACKET?
Each day camp has a registrar that handles the registration for their camp. View the short term resident camp fliers to see the registrar’s address for that specific day camp.
IS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE?
Financial assistance is supplementary, usually a portion of the day camp fee. Financial assistance is on a first come, first served basis and is awarded based on need. If you wish to apply, complete a Request for Financial Assistance form and mail to GSHCC Program Center in Sacramento by April 30, 2012 for full consideration. At the same time you send this form, send the day camp registration forms to the address listed for the day camp you select. Applicants will be notified stating how much financial assistance has been approved. Please pay the remainder of your balance due to your day camp as soon as possible as funds are needed to prepare for camp.
