A deposit is not required for any of our troop and family programs. Registration is through our council’s event registration system. Transportation to camp is not provided for any of the following events:

Camp Menzies Reunion
Open to: All current and past Girl Scout campers, counselors and staff
Come celebrate over 65 years of Girl Scout camping at Camp Menzies! Close your eyes and travel back in time to when you were at Girl Scout camp. Whether it was as a camper, counselor or staffer, the memories are there. Just think of multiple generations of women sharing memories, laughing and taking time to make new friends. There’ll be camp memorabilia on exhibit, great food and, of course, s’mores. Hiking, canoeing and swaps will all be part of the fun. You can do a little, or do a lot. It’s up to you. This is your weekend to kick back and enjoy life with Girl Scouts! Fee includes camp activities, program supplies, food, and fun patch. Food for participants attending on Saturday only will include lunch and a snack.

Back to TopCamp Menzies Clean-up Crew
Open to: Girls in grade 4 and older and adults
Join in the fun of hard work. Help to get Camp Menzies ready for the summer. Earn the Camp Menzies Clean-up Crew patch as you sort supplies, rake pine needles, prepare the kitchen and health center, wash dishes, and dust off all of the props that help create the “Menzies Magic!” Meals are provided. An adult must accompany all girls. Fee includes program materials, a fun patch and food.

Open to: Girls in grade 4 and older
This is an overnight camping program for Girl Scout troops. Each troop will get to enjoy a 90 minute trail ride, horseback riding and roping demonstrations, as well as some traditional camp activities. Each troop will need their own Level I First Aider. Groups are limited to the ratios found in Volunteer Essentials. Girls can register with a troop, or as an individual for this event. Individuals need to have an adult attending with them. Fee includes horseback riding instruction for girls (and adults as available), program materials, a fun patch and food.

Troop Camping at Menzies
Open to: Girl Scout Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes
Your troop will work on earning the first award of the It’s Your Planet-Love it! Journey for your grade level while enjoying traditional camp activities. Activities include canoeing, swimming, archery (grade 4 and older), arts ‘n’ crafts, hiking and more. Each troop must have one adult who is Troop Camp Certified to help girls plan and accompany them to camp. Fee includes food, program materials, outdoor accommodations and fun patch. Please adhere to the ratios found in Volunteer Essentials for each grade level. Horseback riding will be available for an additional fee.

Fee: $60.00 per girl; $40.00 per adult
Family Camping at Menzies
Open to: All Girl Scouts and their Families
Bring your whole family and experience magical Camp Menzies! Enjoy swimming, archery (grade 4 and up), arts ‘n’ crafts, hiking, canoeing (water permitting), songs, games, and more! Families provide their own tent or can request a sleeping cabin (first come, first served). Fee includes staff guided activities, program supplies, food, and fun patch.

10:30 AM, Saturday, August 31 to 11:00 AM, Monday, September 2
Fee: $40.00 per child (Children under 3 are free); $35.00 per adult
