= Travel Program: We are excited to offer several programs that allow girls to travel throughout the Sierra Nevada Mountains and beyond. Travel programs include a minimum of three to six nights of travel and may not include time at Camp Menzies. Unless otherwise noted, girls will be camping in campgrounds during their travels. Transportation for most travel programs is provided by 7, 8 or 12-passanger vehicles, please check individual descriptions for pick up and drop off locations. |

Two of Us
Entering Grades: 2-12
Join us for a fun-filled 4 days designed to give campers a taste of camp life and the outdoors with their special adult there to experience it all with them. An opportunity to help your camper get familiar with Camp Menzies. Adults must be 18 or older. Only one adult per camper please. BUS TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED. Fee includes both participants.

Two of Us-Advanced
Entering Grades: 6-12
Campers entering 6th grade and older have the option of participating in our traditional Two of Us session or trying our advanced session geared for older girls and returning campers. Campers who register for the advanced program will plan their own program which will include a trip out of camp. Campers attending the advanced program will be placed in a tent camping unit. Adults must be 18 or older. Only one adult per camper please. BUS TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED. Fee includes both participants.

Yosemite Camp of Service*
Entering Grades: 6-12
Spend five days in beautiful Yosemite National Park completing the “Resource Stewardship Girl Scout Ranger Program”. Explore this beautiful park, learning how to protect its natural and cultural resources while engaging in educational and volunteer service projects. Work alongside professionals who will give you an inside perspective on environmental science and conservation careers. While working on the Outdoor Legacy badge, you’ll spend three days alongside park rangers completing service projects and two days exploring the hidden secrets of Yosemite National Park. Horse Lovers

Calling all Horse Lovers! Develop your horsewomanship skills at this beginning level riding program. Participate in three hours of horseback riding as well as ground lessons on horse safety and horse care. When you’re not riding, try out some of the other activities that camp has to offer. No school means lazy days of hanging out with friends, sleeping in, and staying up for those late night chats and snacks. Menzies Mountain Riders
Entering Grades: 6-8
Improve your horsewomanship skills at this intermediate riding program. Work on timing, rhythm, and balance during four hours of horseback riding sessions and participate in ground sessions on the care and feeding of horses. When you’re not riding, try out all the other activities camp has to offer. Campers will spend time with the horses each day, but may not ride every day. Sleep in sleeping cabins. Prerequisite: Must have attended Horse Lovers, participated in two Passport to Ride lessons or have 10 hours of riding experience prior to camp.

Do you have the skills needed to survive in the wilderness? This jam-packed session will help you develop the confidence needed to meet the challenges of outdoor survival.
