Planned Giving
Planned Giving is a term commonly used to describe a variety of ways to give to a charity during your lifetime and/or after your death, while meeting your current income needs and providing for your heirs. A planned gift is a meaningful contribution for you and a special opportunity to give back to Girl Scouts Heart of Central California.
There are many options of Planned Gifts from which you can choose and determining what gift is right for you is crucial. You can give cash, securities, retirement accounts, or life insurance policies. You can also make a planned gift and still receive all generated income during your lifetime. Planned gifts, if carefully thought through, can generate significant tax savings for you and/or your loved ones. Please note that all planned gifts should be made in consultation with your accountant and/or attorney, who will advise you on how to proceed.
The following information is necessary to ensure that your gift fulfills your charitable planned giving intent and provides the maximum tax benefit.
